Madīnah, Makkah, Morocco, London and Cairo under several veteran ‘Ulamā’. He studied Arabic Mālikī Fiqh, Uṣūl, ‘Aqīdah and Sulūk. Among his teachers such as Sh. Rami Nsour, Sh. Muḥammad ‘Alawī, and Sh. Sālek b. Siddīnā. Currently studying under Sh. Maḥmūd Shabīb.
In addition to Shaykh Shādee‘s traditional learning, Dr. Shādee Elmasry has received a masters and PhD in religious studies, completing his master’s thesis at The George Washington University and his PhD The University of London. As well, SOAS on Da’wah in the works of Imām ‘Abd Allāh b. ‘Alawī al-Haddad.

Previously having studied a few years in Institute al-Ghazālī at Paris wherein he was taught Mālikī Fiqh & Ash’arī ‘Aqīdah, he has additionally studied in other various institutions which he also learnt Muṣṭalaḥ al-Ḥadīth & Uṣūl al-Fiqh for another couple of years. He has studied Arabic Grammar, Morphology, Poetry, Uṣūl al-Fatwā (Mālikī School), Manṭiq and more with the scholars mentioned above.
