Description
Jawharah al-Tawḥīd is considered to be one of the most important foundational texts of Ash’arī Kalām and is necessarily studied alongside/after al-Kharīdah al-Bahiyyah for one wishing to excel further in ‘Ilm al-Kalām (‘Aqīdah).
In this course, we aim to focus on introducing the students to a the matn itself preparing one for our future studies of commentaries to come. It is essential one studies merely the matn before diving into the commentaries in order to ensure a strong foundation.
It is recommended that students must have studied Al-Kharīdah al-Bahiyyah or at the bare minimum ‘Aqīdah al-‘Awām or their likes.
